Police: Check accuracy of online articles


PETALING JAYA: Police have urged Internet users to check the accuracy of reports posted on social media sites following an article on a website that Selangor crown prince Tengku Amir Shah had become a Catholic.

Using actual names, the article on the World News Daily Report said “the only son and heir of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Tengku Amir Shah, has sent shock waves throughout the Muslim community worldwide” in reference to the report on his purported conversion.
