Kurup: Need for global conference to voice outrage

Kuala Lumpur: The Government should call for an international conference involving the countries which had citizens on board MH17 and record their strong condemnation over the incident that brought down the aircraft, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Tan Sri Joseph Kurup.

“Such a conference should come up with a ‘Kuala Lumpur Declaration’ on the need to maintain the safety of civil aviation industry and unequivocally condemn such acts of barbarism,” he said in his speech supporting the Prime Minister’s tabling of the motion on MH17,
