Act against PAS if it insists on implementing hudud, DAP urged

PETALING JAYA: DAP has been urged to assert pressure to expel PAS from Pakatan Rakyat in line with a recent threat by Sarawak DAP to pull out of the state alliance if the Islamist party kept pushing to implement hudud in Kelantan.

MCA deputy secretary-general Datuk Wee Jeck Seng said if PAS kept pushing for its brand of hudud to be implemented in Kelantan, PKR and DAP must apply pressure against it to drop its intentions.
