Association: Home-grown brands need Govt push


PUTRAJAYA: More Government-driven aid is needed to drive home-grown brands forward, particularly after the tragic incidents involving two Malaysian planes this year, said the Branding Association of Malaysia.

Its president Datuk Eric Chong said the disappearance of Flight MH370 in March and the shoot-down of Flight MH17 over Ukrainian air space last week have collectively made Malaysia a global name for the wrong reasons.
