Syndicate aims big and goes for tanker lorry

KULAIJAYA: It’s common to hear of syndicates stealing cars and motorcycles to strip them for parts, but a group of thieves took things to another level by dismantling a tanker lorry and selling pieces of it as scrap metal.

According to Kulaijaya OCPD Supt Ruslan Khalid, police found the cut-up pieces of the tanker following a raid at a scrap outlet in Senai on July 9.
