Teen aims to set globe-circling record


SUBANG: Taking a page out of Jules Verne’s book, Around The World in 80 Days, an American teenager and his father are attempting to circle the globe in single-engine aircraft in 30 days.

Haris Suleman said the idea came about because his father Babar Suleman wanted to “do something big” with their recently obtained plane. If successful, the 17-year-old is set to be the youngest person ever to complete the journey, breaking the 2013 record set by 19-year-old Australian Ryan Campbell,
