SANDAKAN: Five people suffered injuries when a fire broke out at the only cinema in the east coast Sabah town of Sandakan at 3.55pm Saturday.

One of the victims suffered cuts as he tried to break a window to escape the fire while four others suffered from smoke inhalation inside the One-Kapitol Plaza’s cinema hall.
