Man falls to his death in drug bust at Jalan Ceylon condo

KUALA LUMPUR: A civil servant died after falling from the second floor of a condominium in Jalan Ceylon here while trying to avoid being arrested by Customs officers.

Dang Wangi police chief ACP Zainuddin Ahmad said the 49-year-old man was found lying faced down on the ground behind Menara Antara condominium during a drug bust by Customs officers at his unit at 3pm Saturday.

He said the man died at the scene and his body was taken to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

"Customs officers stormed the unit following information of drug activities at the unit. Several packets of Syabu and other pills suspected to be drugs were found in the unit," he said when contacted.

Zainuddin said Customs officers arrested two Thai women with valid visas and recovered a fake Airsort Pistol M-188 and a dagger at the unit. - Bernama
