Gerak Khas star opens fire on burglars

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Yusof Haslam has played a policeman many times on the television series Gerak Khas – but fiction turned to reality when he opened fire on three burglars who broke into his house.

Yusof, who acts and directs in the highly-rated show, had to fire three warning shots to scare off the burglars who entered his house in Taman Melawati early yesterday.
