Three dead in lorry and cement truck collision near Kamunting

A Proton Exora overturned after hitting one of the cylinders on the road.

TAIPING: A woman and her eight-month-old baby boy were killed along with a cement truck attendant when a lorry transporting gas cylinders collided into the back of the truck along the North-South Expressway at KM200 near Kamunting.

Kerian OCPD Supt Mat Fauzi Nayan said that the woman, Nor Ruziany Noorzamzuri, 19, from Simpang Ampat, Penang, died while being rushed to the Taiping Hospital and her son, Shahrul Zafran Mohd Sobri, died on the spot in the 3.20am incident on Saturday.
