Nurul Izzah's defamation suit against Utusan to be heard in Court after mediation fails


KUALA LUMPUR: The defamation suit by Nurul Izzah Anwar against the Utusan Group editor-in-chief Datuk Aziz Ishak dan Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) will go to trial after the two parties failed to reach an agreement during mediation Thursday.

Counsel for Aziz and Utusan, Datuk Mohd Hafarizam Harun, said both parties agreed to proceed with the trial, fixed for Aug 21 and 22.
