Lorry attendant killed due to faulty brakes


KUALA LUMPUR: A lorry attendant was killed in a collision with the back of a four-tonne trailer, after the brakes of his vehicle gave way along Jalan Kota Kemuning Utama.

Shah Alam Fire and Rescue Department station chief Mohamad Khairi Daud said the deceased, who could only be identified as Gopi, 30, was riding in the passenger seat of the lorry driven by Saiful Bahri Yahya, 31, towards the Kesas Highway at around 1.24pm yesterday.
