New Sabah police chief: 'We will strike fear into hearts of enemies'


KOTA KINABALU: Newly-appointed Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman, said he will use his experience as a former marine police officer in Sabah from 1978 to 1990 to strike fear into the hearts of enemies who threaten the security of the people of Sabah.

"We will strike fear into enemies who try to enter the territorial waters of Sabah and threaten the safety and security, especially of residents living along the coastal areas of Sabah and the islands," he told reporters after paying a courtesy call on Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Dr Juhar Mahiruddin, at the State Palace, here Wednesday.
