PETALING JAYA: A Datuk who was reportedly abducted in Cheras was beaten up before being released after a ransom was paid for his freedom.
A source said the 40-something man was kidnapped near Jalan Chan Sow Lin in Sungai Besi at around 2pm on Thursday. It is believed that there were at least two men involved in the kidnapping.
