UAE aid for Pahang flood victims

KUANTAN: The longtime friendship between two crown princes, who were once also officer cadets of the prestigious Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, paved the way for Pahang to receive US$10mil (RM31.5mil) from the United Arab Emirates to help the state’s flood victims.

The friendship between Tengku Mahkota Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan goes back a long time, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob.
