PETALING JAYA: Fed up of constant water shortages, a household of seven has spent RM6,000 on three new water tanks for their bungalow here.

With each tank able to hold 1,000 litres of water, the family is confident of riding out the impending El Nino phenomenon or any further round of rationing like the one that occurred in February.
