Johor celebrates Malaysia Super League win with public holiday

Johor DT players celebrate their Malaysia Super League victory in the Kuching Stadium. They defeated Sarawak 1-0 in their final league game.

JOHOR BARU: State secretary Datuk Ismail Karim announced Thursday, June 26 as a state public holiday after Johor Darul Takzim FC (JDT) were crowned 2014 Malaysia Super League champions.

The announcement was made at Dataran Bandaraya here to a gathering of JDT supporters who were watching a live telecast of the match held at the Kuching Stadium in Sarawak.
