PUTRAJAYA: There will be no by-election for Sarawak’s Bukit Assek state seat as the vacancy happened within two years of the end of the current term of the state assembly.
Election Commission chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Yusof said the current term of the Sarawak state assembly ends on June 20, 2016.
