Pulau Ketam village head urges Syabas for speedy repair of burst pipe

PETALING JAYA: A pipe supplying water to Pulau Ketam near here burst on Friday, leaving its 5,921 consumers without fresh water, with its village head urging Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) to restore supply as soon as possible.

"Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be the fourth day without water. We have businesses to run - the restaurants, shops and hotels are all full," said village head Cha Keng Lee when contacted by The Star.
