PUCHONG: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim denied talk that PKR's coalition partners, PAS and DAP, rejected the leadership of Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

"That is not the official stand. Any decision to retain or make changes will only be done after discussions with Pakatan Rakyat parties and in consultation with Tuanku (Sultan of Selangor).

"These are just rumours," he told reporters after delivering a lecture at the Centre for Reform Democracy and Social Initiatives in Puchong.

"We will have discussions before making any decisions," said Anwar adding that some parties might have made statements based on new developments.

Anwar was commenting on statements in the social media of DAP and PAS leaders calling on Khalid to step down over his alleged weaknesses in dealing with the seizure of bibles, the Kidex highway and water issue in Selangor.
