Banting boat mishap: 61 rescued, one dead


BANTING: Sixty-one people have been rescued following Wednesday morning’s sinking of a boat off Sungai Air Hitam, while the body of a man who is believed to have been on-board the vessel was also recovered.

South Selangor Zone Fire and Rescue Department chief Azmi Sadun said that as of 1pm Wednesday, a total of 61 victims including 12 women and a female child had been rescued.
