PETALING JAYA: The Finance Ministry is expected to table a proposal in Parliament to give the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) a measure of financial independence by allowing it to keep a fixed percentage of the revenue collected.
Sources said IRB would be allowed to keep 1.5% of the takings, provided it hit the collection target.
