Murder charge awaits maid agent in baby dumping case

PETALING JAYA: The foreign maid agent who dumped the body of a six-month-old baby into a ravine in Genting Highlands is expected to be charged with murder at the Shah Alam magistrate’s court next week.

Selangor police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Samah Mat said the man, in his 40s, could also face human trafficking charges after the grisly find led to the discovery of a syndicate that had been holding foreign maids, forcing them to work without pay and sexually abusing them.
