DAP defends Dyana Sofya against PAS criticism over hudud stance

KUALA LUMPUR: DAP has defended its former Teluk Intan candidate Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud’s stance on the implementation of PAS’ hudud, although she was advised by PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat to put Islam before the party.

Speaking to reporters after attending an annual political retreat here Saturday, secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said the party’s position against the implementation of the PAS’ hudud was  “very clear”.
