Transport company owner jumps out of vehicle to escape from abductors

KOTA KINABALU: A transport company owner jumped out of his own car to freedom after two men tried to abduct him during a daring carjacking in Sabah’s east coast Lahad Datu town.

Chong Nyuk Fah, 60, is currently being treated at the Lahad Datu hospital after sustaining bodily injuries when he fell on the road. During the 11.30am incident on Wednesday, Chong was putting his belongings into the boot of his four-wheel-drive parked behind a hotel when he was suddenly strangled from behind and pushed into the vehicle.
