PETALING JAYA: The Auto Audio, Accessories and Air Condition Traders Association of Malaysia (AAA) has appealed that the Road Transport Department (JPJ), police and Puspakom standardise tint meters to ensure consistent readings.
Its president Cherrie Lim Bee Choo said there had been complaints that the authorities issued summonses without using tint meters and the readings were found to be incorrect or inconsistent.
