Indian national stabbed to death by Indonesian girlfriend


PETALING JAYA: A 40-year-old man, believed to be an Indian national, was allegedly stabbed to death by his girlfriend at the third floor of a shophouse in Jalan PJS 1/46, Petaling Utama here, Wednesday.

Police were informed of the incident, believed to have occurred at about 5am, by an operator of a nearby restaurant.

A spokesman for the police said the man was found naked with a stab wound on his chest.

“He had just taken a bath when he was stabbed.

“The girlfriend is believed to be an Indonesian. She was apprehended at the scene while busy packing her belongings before trying to escape,” he said.

The victim’s body has been sent to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem.
