THE official birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong each year is commemorated by the impressive display of the Trooping the Colour ceremony, which will be carried out steeped in tradition.

Just like many other British and Commonwealth countries, the tradition which began since the early 17th century, will see the King inspecting the guards and sentries for the Royal Palaces while for Malaysia, it will be from various branches and regiments of the armed forces.
