Show prudence, MCA urges Jais over disruption of Hindu wedding ceremony

PETALING JAYA: The MCA has urged to the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) to exercise prudence and uphold the Federal Constitution when carrying out its tasks.

"Once and for all, be sensitive towards the feelings of non-Muslims by ceasing to execute raids, trespassing into non-Muslim places of worship and halting all interference on non-Muslim religious ceremonies," said Datuk Koo Chin Nam, MCA's Syariah Law and Policy Implementation Special Task Force deputy chairman, in a statement Tuesday.
