BEIJING: After six eventful days in Xian and Beijing for an official visit to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Malaysia and China, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has no doubt that the two countries will be even closer in the years to come.

This is based on the warmth and responsiveness the prime minister experienced in his many meetings and encounters during the trip. In particular, he is encouraged by the fact that he was able to have fruitful discussions with the three top Chinese leaders – President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang and National People’s Congress chairman Zhang Dejiang.
