Family of gang-rape victim goes into hiding


KOTA BARU: The family of the 15-year-old teenager who was gang raped at an empty house in Ketereh on May 20, is said to be under tremendous stress and has gone into hiding to get away from the media spotlight.

State Welfare Department deputy director Norazman Ab Manaf said the family had gone into hiding and were overcome with sadness and shame over the incident, which had been widely publicised by the media.
