Cops suggest 12 assembly intruders be charged

GEORGE TOWN: The police have recommended that the 12 men who stormed the state assembly building in Light Street be charged.

The investigation papers into the May 21 incident were submitted to the Attorney-General (A-G) in Putrajaya on Tuesday for further action, said George Town OCPD Asst Comm Mior Farida­latrash Wahid when contacted.
