PETALING JAYA: Thursday has been declared a public holiday in Perak to mark the passing of Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah, announced Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Wednesday.
“It is with deep regret that I have to announce the passing of our beloved Sultan,” he said during a live telecast at RTM here, noting that the Jalur Gemilang would be flown at half-mast for seven days in Perak beginning Wednesday.
