JOHOR BARU: Only one more case of meningococcal meningitis has been confirmed from the Jalan Ayer Molek detention centre since the disease was detected last Friday, bringing the total number of cases to two.
A Malaysian detainee was found to have contracted the disease after another 43-year-old local detainee was admitted to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital, said Johor Health and Environment exco Datuk Ayub Rahmat.
