Man arrested for death threat against activist


TELUK INTAN: The police have arrested a man for allegedly threatening to kill a social activist who was involved in the Teluk Intan parliamentary by-election.

Deputy Hilir Perak OCPD Supt Zaki Harun said the 50-year-old man was arrested in Durian Tunggal in Malacca during the afternoon on Wednesday after threatening to kill the activist, who is also 50, at an operations centre in Taman Ratna, along Changkat Jong here earlier on the same day.
