Esscom launches Ops Gasak 10 to track down illegal immigrants in fish farms

LAHAD DATU: The Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) has launched an operation codenamed Ops Gasak 10 to track down illegal immigrants working in fish farms in waters within Lahad Datu.

Esscom Director of Security and Public Order Datuk Abdul Rashid Harun said following the operation launched on Friday, 35 Filipino workers, including 16 women, were detained at five fish farms for non-possession of valid documents.
