Court discharges Ipoh Timur MP, Perak PKR secretary for organising public gatherings without notice


IPOH: Both Ipoh Timur MP Thomas Su Keong Siong and state PKR secretary Mohammad Anuar Zakaria were given a discharge not amounting to acquittal (DNAA) by a Sessions Court here for organising public gatherings without giving prior notice. 

Judge Rushan Lufti Mohd said the court was bound by the decision made by the Court of Appeal that the 10-day  notice under the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012 was unconstitutional.
