KUCHING: Sarawak’s political landscape has changed remarkably, with the resignations of members from factions within SPDP and SUPP, whom have united under a new party -- Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras).
Those who have quit allegedly comprise the majority of elected representatives from the two Barisan parties. Tan Sri William Mawan (pic) has vacated as SPDP president, while senior most from SUPP is Sibu chairman Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.
Mawan brings with him four state assemblyman and two MPs, himself included.
