Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai having a dialouge with Teluk Intan community leaders at a restaurant in Teluk Intan.

BIDOR: The DAP has misled the Chinese by saying that PAS’ agenda was to form a welfare state and not an Islamic state to get the community to support PAS in the general election last year, MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said.

The support, he added, had strengthened the Islamist party, which was now pushing for a Private Member’s Bill to amend the Federal Constitution to implement hudud in Kelantan.
