PORT KLANG: The Selangor Immigration Department crippled a syndicate falsifying work permits for foreign workers, believed to have raked in tens of thousands of ringgit, since its establishment about two years ago.
Selangor Immigration director Amran Ahmad said a team of eight officers, headed by his deputy M. Chandran, arrested the mastermind, a 21-year-old local last Friday at a lavish condominium in Batu Caves.
