Three nabbed, one cop injured following high-speed chase in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: A General Operations Force (GOF) personnel was injured in a high-speed chase at sea off the east coast Sandakan district that ended with the arrest of three suspected smugglers.

Eastern Sabah Security Command director general Datuk Mohamad Mantek said on Sunday that the policeman was injured after falling into the sea during the chase between Pulau Berhala and Tanjung Aru at about 7.30pm on Saturday.
