Kelab TaHa walks into Malaysian record book with most student members


PETALING JAYA: Kelab TaHa, started by Lem­baga Tabung Haji in 2008 to encourage savings by children aged seven to 17, has drawn 1.12 million members, making it into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBoR) as having the most number of school children in a single club.

MBoR founder and managing director Danny Ooi presented the recognition award to Tabung Haji managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Paduka Ismee Ismail at a ceremony that also marked the club’s sixth anniversary at the TH Hotel in Kelana Jaya here yesterday.
