Palanivel: Good move by Selangor to source raw water from mining ponds

KUALA LUMPUR: The Selangor government's efforts to source raw water from former mining ponds to ease the water supply situation in the state has drawn the support of Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri G. Palanivel.

"It is a good move to increase Selangor's water capacity. But I advise that the water should be treated properly," he told reporters after a Tamil New Year celebration here late Friday.
