Solo cyclist to receive award


KOTA BARU: Wan Hashim Wan Mahmood, the 68-year-old who made history by cycling throughout the peninsular over 28 days, will be back on his bike and heading to Kuala Lumpur again. This time, he is to receive a certificate of recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR).

The grandfather of 18 hopes to leave a legacy of being the oldest cyclist in Malaysia to receive the award.
