KAJANG: The command of the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) will be placed under the police and army on a rotation basis instead of being an independent body as it is now.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said both the ministry and the National Security Council (NSC) were still studying the matter, adding that the final decision would be made by the Prime Minister.
