KOTA KINABALU: A Malaysian military officer who tried smuggling out a pistol from the United States to Kuala Lumpur will have to face American laws on firearms smuggling.
Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed on Sunday, that police have received information about the arrest of a military official with the rank of “major’’, and that the individual would have to face the laws of the United States.
