PETALING JAYA: The ongoing water crisis may have a devastating effect on small and medium industries (SMIs) as they risk losing customers and even cause some to go out of business altogether.
According to SMI Association of Malaysia president Teh Kee Sin, large companies were looking at moving out of Selangor because the prolonged water shortage could affect SMIs whose core business is to service them.
