PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian aviation expert is puzzled that the search for the missing Flight MH370 has been narrowed to finding the black box in the southern Indian Ocean given that there was no distress signal from the aircraft’s emergency locator transmitter (ELT).
An ELT is a radio beacon that transmits a signal to indicate to rescuers its position.
