Guard who ran off with teen's handphone jailed


GEORGE TOWN: A security guard who ran off with a cellphone he pretended to borrow from a 15-year-old girl was jailed 10 months.

Magistrate Umma Devi Loganathan also ordered Aziz Abu Baker, 46, to be given a stroke of the rotan after he pleaded guilty to committing the offence at Ward C7 of the Penang Hospital on April 1.
