GEORGE TOWN: The management of solid waste by the Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP) is inefficient due to the lack of compactors.
The 2013 Auditor-General’s report said there were several weaknesses, including the limited capacity of garbage bins which could not contain the volume of garbage discarded by the public.
